The programming group is starting to apply what we’ve learned in chemistry to make a program for balancing chemical equations. This is a process for the programming team to get familiar with the programming system we are using now, which is the Python 3.6.4 ver. It is also a good way for them to practice their skills in programming and their skill of cooperating within the team. |
April 27th 2018
For this week, our captain, Jacky had went to the FRC finals for 2018 in the US. During the meeting, we reviewed some of the videos that the captain brought back, and discussed and analyzed the videos and the teams’s performance as a whole. We further investigated in the rules of this year’s FRC competition and talked about the strategies of the teams. May 4th 2018
For this week, the designer of our team started with designing the team’s logo. At the end of the day, the first version of the team logo has been made. May 11th 2018
After discussing, our team leaders decided to go out and find more talented students in other grades. So far, we already have 2 more people joining to the team from grade 10s, and 3 students joined from grade 8s. The programming group had finished the main structure of the balancing chemical equation program and is starting to finalize details. |
